Subject: Intro to CSCI Unix Systems

I will be giving the talk "Introduction to CSCI Unix Systems" next week.
This is designed for anyone that is just starting out using unix or wants
to know more about our SETUP.


Some topics covered are:
        Environment variables
        Basic Commands
        Makefiles
        Compilation
        Pipes
        Scripting
        Ownership and permission
        Remote Access
        The CSCI Instructional Network

Basically, if you do not feel confident working on the suns in 307, you should
c ome.


The talk will be given twice in room 306 Boyd:
        Tuesday, January 21 at 7:00pm
        Wednesday, January 22 at 6:00pm

Everyone is invited (even those not in a class.)
